Juvia, Lucy does not want your man...She barely wants her own
Met a lot of people
But nobody feels like you
It's Gray Day (9/01) in the Fairy Tail Fandom. And I'm here with a potential hot take? Maybe. The day is almost over but it occurred to me just now.
Gray is the most shippable character in the whole series.
Gruvia? Is Canon at this point. The slow burn is great, and really, sometimes Gray needed that emotional push that Juvia gave him. We finally got him acknowledging his feelings after what a decade? (NaLu Shippers Crying in still waiting).
GrayLu? Don't lie to me, Gray. You were into her for a good while in the beginning. At the very least they're besties now
Gratsu? Oh, my Gratsu phase, I remember thee well. See, here's my thing with this ship in particular. If I'm shipping Gratsu, either Lucy ain't in the picture or they're in a polycule with her cause I'm too much of a NaLu to do that. But the Rivals to Lovers? Fire and Ice? The Angst of E.N.D.? Gray being canonically one of Natsu's most important people (why when Natsu disappeared for a second, the showed Lucy, Happy, AND Gray but no Erza or Wendy). Also he did help save his life so... yeah.
GrayLo? If you're unfamiliar, it is Gray X Loke. I just know Loke would tap Gray if he wasn't focused on Lucy or Aries. Also, just the whole Tenroh Island Team Up. I see you two.
Grayza? Again, Gray don't even try to lie to me. I know you found her pretty a lot of times early in the series. Don't even play.
This is just the ones I know at the top of my head that have canon moments and/or evidence.
So uh yeah, Happy Gray Day
(I just realized it's also bisexual visibility month, and I headcanon Gray as Bisexual so double celebration to him!)
Lucy and Gray front cover of Sorceror Magazine in my story The Invitation. Thank you @coloriza for another amazing art!
It's funny how some people fixate their hate on Juvia Lockser for 'harassment' and not respecting boundaries, yet they don't bat an eye at Natsu's barging into Lucy's apartment, Gray's inappropriate stripping habit (even in front of a child), or the boys' voyeurism and repeated staring at the girls' bodies and/ or underwear, whether it's Lucy, Virgo, Erza, or Cana. Instead, they fixate their hate on Juvia, who already demonstrated character development with respect to those boundaries as the series progressed.
Ohhh Juvia here is enforcing a boundary🤯
Let's not forget Gray's toxic behavior early in the series of "outwardly not wanting" Juvia's romantic attention, yet he also didn't want that attention to go to other men and he didn't like other men showing interest in her either.
Why treat the men's behavior as a running gag but not Juvia's?
Is it because she's a girl, is it outright lack of respect for the author and his pairing choice, or does she remind you of a part of yourself?
i'm so glad i found another graylu shipper. this ship is underrated and deserves more love.
They’re so flirty together I love them
