i will say, it was pretty damn disappointing. like, sure, we saw Pink Diamond (finally), but that was kinda it. Lars of the Stars really let me down the most out of the two episodes, and Jungle Moon wound up being the better episode of the two.
so it was very meh.

i would love Pink Diamond to be manipulative. i want her to be a villain that abuses the fact that she’s the youngest of the four Diamonds in order to get her way. she takes Blue Diamond’s devotion and care towards her to use it to her advantage.
basically, take the whole “Pink Diamond is a sweet and caring angel” and turn that shit on its head. i want her to appear all nice and shit, but she’s actually a cold and calculating leader that is absolutely ruthless in order to get her way.
