Hey, all, its been a while. Im here to rant about why there is such an issue with using the green pfps on Tik Tok right now.

If you dont know, there is a movement on tik tok of using purple pfps to show awareness and support for women in South Africa who are being beaten and raped and experiencing general femicide. Well, now people are using green pfps because "its for men's mental health. Its for everyone's mental health."

Here's why I call bullshit. Sexual assault awareness month is in APRIL. No one said ANYTHING. Suicide awareness month is in SEPTEMBER. Absolute silence from so-called mental health advocates on tik tok. But now suddenly that women's rights are mentioned, its "but why not everyone?" This is basically like the "All Lives Matter" people. Like yes, that statement is true. But its not about all lives, its meant to bring awareness to a specific cause. Same with this. Yes, everyone's experiences MATTER and deserve to be DISCUSSED. But this isn't for that, and people are simply just trying to take away the attention from the severe abuse to women in South Africa. Grow up, people.
