I was listening to Lean On by Major Lazer yesterday and it really reminded me of John and Kelly! I'm not sure if you've heard the song before but? It is a perfect John & Kelly song 10/10 would recommend

I like the way you think my friend! I’ve heard that song many times on the radio, and I definitely like it…but I never got around to looking up the lyrics until now, and really seeing what they were saying. Holy cow though, you’re absolutely right it’s a perfect match for them! Thank you for pointing it out to me. :)

I know, right! So much good news today. :} Sourpusses be damned...they’ll just have to get over themselves eventually. I try not to get involved in “discussions” with those people anymore. Though in the meantime I don’t want anyone who’s being bullied by them to feel like they aren’t supported either.

Thanks, Kaptain. :) I’m glad you’re finding the writings enjoyable. That’s the whole reason why I started doing them, to share my love for my favorite characters with my friends and fellow Halo fans. I guess my greatest fear is that all the effort I’m putting into these projects will go to waste when ‘Halo 5′ rolls around this fall and it’s characterization of John and Kelly’s friendship is totally flat. :\ ...but I guess we’ll just have to wait and see on that front.

Anyway, since you asked, the tentative schedule I’ve set for myself is that I’m trying to get the #HUNTtheTRUTH recaps posted every Monday or Tuesday, and then the ‘Two Hundred And Four Reasons’ essays posted by either Wednesday or Thursday.

I'm sure 343 does. Tbh I'd be interested to see Denning novelize Reach: for all that he'd write a male Six, he has a proven track record of being good at writing a lot of death. I plan to get the next few Halo books from the library, not buying.

You know, a novelized ‘Reach’ might be something I think I wouldn’t mind seeing either...aside from the default-male!Six thing as well. XP

Thankfully Denning’s talent for writing a lot of death won’t be applied to Blue Team for this next book though (phew!)...Yeah, I usually flip through new book releases at the the bookstore over a nice beverage at the snack bar. And if I can live without it for a few weeks from there, the library it is. So this will definitely be the same.

I only have reliable memories of two of his Star Wars books. Most of the others were part of a series I didn't care for. Of those two, one was the very good middle installment of a 19-book series, and the other was, frankly, a bit awful.

Well thank you for the heads-up. I guess we’ll find out which side of Denning we’ll be getting come September. Honestly though, even if the plot is a train-wreck, as long as the characters themselves aren't a total mess I could probably at least live with it. And if Traviss could pull off Blue Team as well as she did...perhaps 343i provides the authors with character notes or something?

Their numbers aren’t visible, but the armor is an exact match for John, Kelly, and Linda as they last appeared in ‘Halo: Escalation’. It’s them! :D
