Darkest Dungeon is one of my favorite games rn and I enjoy playing it. It's got the gameplay loop I can do with the satisfying destruction of enemies when you figure out the weak points-honestly it's pretty fun when you know what you're doing
One problem.
I Do Not Know What I Am Doing And This Game Wants Me Dead
I have a crazy idea
what if I ran a brief Q&A session for Prince and co. so I can draw the responses for the rest of the month
will it work? will anyone send me asks? no idea. might be fun tho
The misery of trying to find a Very Specific Fic that you read once upon a time that was So Good but also So Unique it's Practically A Ghost Now
WHAT DO YOU MEAN THERE'S A DINOSAUR SHOW BEING ANIMATED ON YOUTUBE IN THE STYLE OF OLD 80'S-90'S MOVIES

Every year I tell myself I need to be more active on tumblr and less concerned with how people perceive me here
and every year I fail
Briefly going to gush over @monsoon-of-art 's little mer au side thing because it's too cute to me.
Because let's think about it. If Ingo was cursed into a mer and tossed into Hisui that means that he doesn't fully grasp mer culture. He doesn't understand the nuances of interactions or vocal signals shared between them. Not for a while at least, I have no doubt that he'd figure himself out at some point. He'd get to where he could get by with them understanding that he;s just a bit weird.
Then Dawn shows up. Tossed into the sea and left to die either by force or some accident. Of course what remains of his human nature can't let him leave her like that, surely she'd drown. So he takes her up to the surface, holds her in his hands as she coughs up water. She's too out of it to notice what's going on at the moment and likely passes right back out immediately after. He knows he should take her back to the beach and get her as far from the ocean as he can.
Yet he hesitates. He continues to just, hold her. She's very, very small in his hands. Too small. She'd be bait for any of the more aggressive mers out in the ocean and something about that makes him extremely nervous. Suddenly his senses are spread wide and searching wherever something could be lurking in the deep. It's unfamiliar and kind of scary how hard he's listening and feeling for waves in the water. He does eventually get her to the beach after coming to his senses because holding a very small human in vast open water is not a good idea for either of them, but he still hesitates just a bit as he sets her down. He even goes so far as to attempt hiding her from whatever predators wander the beach before he finally flees the area.
You wanna know something funny? When mammals like dolphins, whales and orcas first have pups, the first thing they do is take them up for their first breath of air.
