“im kidding, im kidding… almost found it…” Grian grinned and Skizz could hear his mouse click click-clicking slowly. It was a GIGS stream; not GIGGS because Gem couldn’t make it.
Scar was leaning back with his hands behind his head, telling his chat it was gonna be a little while, when suddenly-
CRASH- and a female voice shouting, “a little help!!” from Grian’s mic could be heard, and Grian turned his head and shouted back, “coming!!”
he frantically clicked something, presumably muting himself. However, when he pulled his headphones off and stood up, it was clear that he was not muted.
everyone else in the call had a look of confusion or concern on their face.
Skizz could tell by the look on Impulse’s face that he was trying to figure out whose voice had been heard. he thought it sounded familiar, too.
“uh oh,” Scar said quietly.
quietly, just picking up on Grian’s mic, “aww, no!! here-“ some more thunking, “sorry, i-i didn’t know what to do!” and, “it’s fine,” were audible. silence, for a little while.
“what’s gonna happen next-“ Scar was cut off by an offended noise from Grian, a little closer this time, like he and the girl were closer to his office.
“oh you-!” Grian’s voice was muffled by something, and some small, unrecognizable noises followed. finally, “you little slut- Hey!” he was giggling. a thump.
Scar fumbled for something.
the female voice again (it was so, achingly FAMILIAR!), “You’re the slut, not even trying to stop me.”
“i gotta get back to the strea-“ he cut himself off with a moan, followed by something small that sounded like it could be a name. then, barely audible, “let me go. come on.”
Skizz finally broke. “do you think he knows he’s not muted?!”
Impulse shook his head and blinked a couple times. “oh jeez, i was like, in a trance there or something- of course he doesn’t know!! oh, here he comes-“
Grian walked back into the room and sat down with a goofy grin on his face. he put his headphones back on and looked at his screen with confusion.
“Grian, i hate to break it to ya, but… well, i managed to mute you over on my side-“ shit, i should’ve done that, Skizz thought belatedly “-but, um, you- you were unmuted that whole time.”
a beat of silence.
OH YEAH! that was GEM’S voice! of course! how hadn’t he realized it earlier??
…oh fuck, that was Gem’s voice.
Grian was frozen.
“fuck.”

Taylor(Gem) had just finished a long stream on HermitCraft with ZIT and Charles(Grian), even if Charles was only in vc and not in game and was VERY ready to go to bed as it was half past 11pm.
"Tay you good? You zoned out on me there for a second," Charles asked through the call.
"Huh? Oh yeah I'm good, just tired." Taylor replied with a sigh.
"Then go to bed silly," he said with a chuckle.
"Says you! Isn't like 6am for you? You were on call the entire time i was streaming! YOU'RE the one who needs to sleep for goodness sake!" Tay scolded her boyfriend.
"Nu uh." he stated simply.
"What is THAT supposed to mean?" Tay asked waving her hands around.
Just then she got a knock at her door, 'at this hour?', "hold on Char there's someone at me door." she said before taking her headphones off and getting up.
When she opened the door she was stunned to see who was on the other side.
"Hi," Charles said with a little wave.
Taylor pulled him into a hug faster than you can say 'I saw that coming'. "I cant believe you're here! Why are you here? HOW ARE YOU HERE!?" She said holding him tighter with every word.
"Well I wanted to see you! So i got a flight..." Char said sheepishly.
"Oh my god I love you-" Taylor said before stopping and realizing what she said. She said ,'I love you', the three words they have never said to each other before. She looked him in the eyes watching his face circle through several different emotions before landing on a soft look.
"I love you too Taylor," He said before pulling her into a kiss.
Their first kiss.
