Three weeks ago
You walked into the room “Hey guys I got this game wanna try it out?” You held the game in your hand showing them.
Both Rocket and Groot looked at you and the game you were showing.
“Yeah” Rocket shrugged “sure let’s give it a try”
“I am Groot”
Today
Peter made his way to the dinning area when he slipped on an energy drink that fell on the ground “Seriously?” he knew exactly who to blame over this. He stood up and picked up the can and that’s when he heard it.
“ROCKET I NEED YOU ON MY SIX!!!” You yelled loudly from your room.
“I’M BUSY, COVER YOUR OWN ASS!” Rocket yelled back from his corner in the ship.
He saw Groot sneaking into the cabinet to get some chips and tried to run away to your room, that’s when he caught him.
“What do you think you’re doing?” he asked him, shaking his head and poor Groot looked like he was a deer caught in the headlights.
“I am Groot” he tried to answer.
“Yeah yeah I know” he was still holding him in one hand and the chips in the other.
“Y/N, ROCKET MEETING RIGHT NOW!!!” He yelled.
“NOT NOW!” you both replied at the same time.
Peter had had enough of this and he just went and disabled the connection so you two can’t play anymore, it took you and Rocket 20 seconds to know what happened and came charging at Peter.
“WHAT THE HELL PETER?!” you were mad but damn Rocket was about to claw Peter’s eyes out.
“Okay you two need to quite this!” oh he was mad “You have been playing the game for three weeks THREE WEEKS! Unless you stop this madness I’m gonna take the game away.” He threatened and he thought it was going to work.
You and Rocket were looking at him shocked the entire time when he finished you looked at each other then back at him.
“And how the hell do you think you’re going to do that?” You asked.
“Yeah you try laying a finger on my game and I will blow your head off” Rocket threated back.
You made it back to your room and Rocket to his corner for another game, while Peter stood there with his mouth hung open “What the hell just happened?” he whispered to himself.
A/n: This is requested by @itsscromp thank you I had fun writing this and the game I had in mind was 'call of duty'. Also I'm so into it right now it's insane how obsessed I am with that game.
