I didn’t take many photos in Michigan but here are several from the weekend. It was bittersweet to come home for the funeral of @kric1221 and see my oldest friends again for the first time in a few years. I got to meet @lco84’s youngest for the first time, and I got to see @emigoo3’s @amoritasvineyards wine for sale at Park Place. 🍾🍷 There was much reminiscing, a lot of tortured crying, and a lot of hugging and comforting. We discussed how people seem to get together for weddings or funerals, and that you blink and years have gone by without seeing the people you love, and that it would be so good to get together for no reason other than to see each other. I’m really glad I was able to make it home and be there, Lars, and I am so so sorry it was for this. I know that the pain and grief will continue to come in waves, and you’ll have moments where you feel like you’re drowning in it, but wherever we all are, know we’re connected to you and there are so many invisible strings of love supporting you. #life #death #love #reunion #grossepointe #grief #joy #mytribe (at Grosse Pointe, Michigan) https://www.instagram.com/p/B1CzMB4gRyq/?igshid=i6x5jqkk7zib
