Mark I don't know how much you know about sharks but you're smart so I wanted yours and a few others input on this I was having a mental argument with myself over this Do you think a shark of any species of sufficient size that is injured to the point where it could no longer catch its usual size would attempt to prey upon a human?
I mean, the whole reason shark attacks do happen is that the sharks are attempting to prey upon humans. They’re not the vicious bastard fish people make them out to be. They just are curious and peckish. So yes. But I don’t think it has anything to do with the sharks being injured. They merely mistake us for large fish/pinnipeds/something edible, and boom, there goes your limb. It helps that humans are not exactly born to the water, and getting away is not our forte.
