Gulfem Hatun in Mahidevran’s chambers- Muhtesem Yuzyil (episode 1)

The satisfaction in this scene that Gulfem gets from telling Mahidevran that Suleyman is going to entertained, I find to be really telling about their relationship as it probably shows that Mahidevran messed with Gulfem in similar ways that Hurrem would end up messing with Mahidevran. I guess what goes around comes back around. It also shows that Gulfem can be petty to, but she does it in a smarter way than Mahidevran or Hurrem ever did. I feel like had Hurrem gone against Gulfem with her son she would have had a much harder time getting Gulfem out of Suleyman’s affections cause Gulfem seems to be much cleverer than Mahidevran. I love petty Gulfem.
