This particular Shock Doctor Mouth-Guard fits your mouth well even if you are wearing braces. It's made with a Multi-Layer construction that can easily stand up to all the bumps you might get on the field with the shock absorbing front bumper and all the biting that it will probably go through. It's not a hard plastic, it just needs to be put into boiled water then moulded into shape to fit your teeth and mouth. Who is it for?

I personally think they should be compulsory for all ages and player levels but they are not. This Shock Doctor Mouth-Guard is for both adults and youths. My Opinion I personally only buy Shock Doctor Mouth-Guards for myself and my children as I have never had any problems with them whatsoever, I suppose its personal preference isn't it? This is a really great Mouth-Guard though but I have to say that I much prefer the Shock Doctor Gel Max Convertible It's was really easy to mould as well, just put into boiled water for around 12 seconds then carefully remove it and mould it around your teeth, if you don't get a comfortable fit straight away then repeat the process again until you find it comfortable. I then put into cold water to keep the shape which works really well. You don't have to do this, but I shape the Mouth-Guard before every time my children or myself uses them so it stays a comfortable fit.
