And here’s the Gup-A (who took forever to design because I wanted her to have a certain look)! She’s more armored than her siblings, due to the fact that she is used more often and has more capacity for those using her.
And the one who caught her? None other than Tweak, who was going to do some routine maintenance. Unlike Kwazzi, Tweak is more astonished and excited by the fact the Gups are robots then she is scared :)

I’m just going to go ahead and throw lore bits to this idea out there:
Barnacles already knows about the Octobots. He knows his vessel inside out, and of course, he accidentally found out, but he kept their secrets for them.
•There is a chance they could encounter Decepticons (especially marine-based ‘cons).
Octopod, the sweetheart she is, is protective over her Octonauts and her minibots. She refused to return when the Prime demanded her to. She has a purpose outside the war (which could lead to her being exiled from the Autobot Faction, but that doesn’t scare her).
The Gups are siblings! A-E are all Octopod’s Sparklings, the others were adopted into the family.
The Gups, except for B, all accidentally reveal themselves. B did it intentionally because he thought it was funny.
