Announcement: Schedule Changes

Doku Doku Mori Mori chapter 19 is finally up! Thank you all for waiting. I know my upload schedule has been all over the place so I figured at this point I should officially make the decision to make my schedule twice a month for the time being unless I manage to find the time to do more.

To be honest, life has been a little rough these past few weeks with stuff (I won't bog you down with details cuz that's not what this account is for but basically I've had some p shitty luck lmao) and my new job is in retail which has been super busy with the holidays on the way so at least until January I'll probably just be uploading one chapter of Pumpkin Night and one chapter of Doku Doku Mori Mori per month.

I'll be sure to check up on here at least once a week for any questions or comments though so feel free to message me even if it's just to say hi!

Hi! As far as I know, there aren't any official translations of Doku Doku Mori Mori but I'm hoping that changes in the future! I keep suggesting it to Seven Seas on their monthly reader surveys lol. But yeah I think it's only fan translations right now. Have a nice day :)

Pumpkin Night is finally back!

Hello everyone! Thank you all so much for waiting. I was hoping to have chapter 70 out last week but a family emergency came up so I had to focus on that for a little bit (thankfully everything's all good now). Anyways, I'm a little rusty at writing dialogue for these characters so if something seems off/out of character then please let me know and I'll work on fixing it. Thank you! : )

edit: also I just noticed that I messed up and put "see" instead of "sees" on page 3 and tumblr won't let me fix it so I apologize for that

Are you aware that volume 8 of Pumpkin Night is coming out this summer (possibly soon as of this post)? I ask since it's been a while since you scanlated up to volume 7; and it's been confirmed that Part 3 has already started, meaning up to possibly vol. 8 is where Part 2 ends, so I apologize if I got that aspect mixed up.

Hi! Yeah I gotta say I wasn't a fan of that translation either. I remember I waited for a while to see if any other translators would release a more accurate version, but then I realized "Hey I want to learn more Japanese anyway so why not try translating?" and here we are now lol. hey! i just wanted to say tysm for giving pumpkin night a proper translation! my brother recommended it to me years ago, n i was unfortunate enough to read the other most popular translation. while pumpkin night isn’t a deep story n it’s a really gory slasher, i really like naoko’s character n i cosplay as her. so in a way, the manga is very dear to me. i’m super glad to see someone give it the love it deserves. ik you said it’ll take a bit to translate the rest n no worries! even if it takes a long time for the new volume to get published or you’re busy with your personal life, i’m fine with waiting! you’re a great translator n i know i keep saying it but ty for giving pumpkin night a proper translation! the story is far more enjoyable for me this way. have a good day!! 🫶🏼

Hi! Thank you so much. I'm glad that people actually enjoy the stuff I've worked on lol. Hopefully volume 8 will be accessible outside of Japan soon cuz I genuinely want to work on it again. Also yeah sometimes it's fun to just enjoy a goofy slasher story, especially with such a fun main character. I'm glad more people are openly enjoying Pumpkin Night now. I saw someone cosplaying as Naoko at this past Katsucon and I was absolutely delighted. Anyways, I hope you have a good day too! :)
