  Packing and Comments of GYXTW Fiber Optic Cable

The outdoor fiber optic cable is wound on a non-returnable wooden drum. Both ends of the cable are securely fastened to the drum and sealed with a shrinkable cap to prevent ingress of moisture. The following information shall be marked on the outer sheath of the cable at an interval of about 1 meter.

l Cable length

 The sequential number of the cable length shall be marked on the outer sheath of the cable at an interval of 1meter ± 1%.

Brellet Telecom’s GYXTW Outdoor Loose Tube Light-armored Optical Cable

GYXTW construction is that 250um fibers are positioned in a loose tube which is made of high modulus plastic, filled with a water-resistant filling compound and wrapped with a layer of PSP (Steel Tape) longitudinally; Between the PSP (Steel Tape) and the loose tube a water-blocking material is applied to keep the cable compact and watertight; Two parallel steel wires are placed at the two sides of the steel tape, and the cable is completed with a polyethylene (PE) sheath.
