Just spit balling ideas here but for a future Digimon Story Game have the twist for the protagonist be that they were someone who's birth was erased from history because of all the time reset endings.

Way earlier in the game, Chitose, who has an Ankylomon, got an Angemon during a main quest. I know from experience that Ankylomon and Angemon DNA digivolve into Shakkoumon, yet it didn't click until just now nearing the end of the game when it's about to happen that his Ankylomon and Angemon would DNA digivolve into Shakkoumon. If I was smart, I would have immediately clocked that :(

Is there any news on if the new digimon game will have more streamlined/intuitive evolution? I’m plying cyber sleuth/hackers memory before the new one comes out and it’s annoying having to constantly swap out the farm and de-digivolve and keep track of which one is gonna evolve into which other one

To be clear I’m fine with de-digivolving, that’s like, a core aspect of digimon, it’s just hard to keep track of which of my three silphymon needs to become gatomon again and which one needs to stat up to become dynasmon
