Explaining why hakubo is not a groomer (yea ppl think he is)

So first of all, he ages different since he's an oni, yea he has lived sm years but he ages slower he doesn't look adult at all (yea he looks so dang tall but bro is build different)

Hakubo wasn't there to be her caretaker, he was sent to watch she doesn't escape.

Sumire started calling him her husband since child cuz first she was confused, she heard she was gonna be a bride so she though Hakubo was her husband

Then she decides he was gonna be her informal husband LOL

And as time went by, the title of husband stayed

Sumire had no problem playing as the wife, at the end back hakubo is kinda stupid being a caretaker, so she prefer had a traditional husband-wife relationship

That time Sumire was a child, he did not see her as his child he saw her like another mision from the minamotos, with the passage of time he began to have real appreciation for her

me, in my head, every day: genderbending every character, making all the men wear dresses, making straight couples into yuri, fixating on the dynamics between two “straight” characters of the same gender that have significantly more chemistry than their cannon lovers, etc
