This is the turtle doll from @halfnekoslair, also from the group order managed by @malaryush-dolls. This is going to be my Jennika — and if you don’t know who that is, you are missing out! She’s a character in the IDW TMNT series that just ended, and she’s wonderful. I have the action figure of her, but really needed someone with more flexibility to satisfy my craving for Jennika-ness, so when @halfnekoslair offered this one for sale I jumped on (begged and pleaded for) the chance to buy!

The heat damaged the elastic in her ankles, and we’ve spent a little time re-attaching her feet with s-hooks, once I located the right size.

I think she’s very annoyed with me…

Look at this little beauty who just arrived from @halfnekoslair, courtesy of a group order managed by @malaryush-dolls ! Just look at those delicate little nails and fingers!

She’s going to become Miss Bianca from one of my favorite childhood movies: Disney’s The Rescuers. It’s not one of the movies that got a lot of merchandise and such, since it was apparently released during one of the Disney slumps of the 20th century, but I saw it so many times as a kid, it left a strong impression on my little brain. And of the few Miss Bianca dolls who were offered, I liked exactly none of them. So here she is at last, and waiting for her glamorous wardrobe to be assembled!
