With short story~ Keep in mind its sort of Steam-cyber punk AU

Walker was unable to tell lies.

“Are there more of your kind?” Cole’s voice was curious as he closed small panel on Walker’s back securing it in place with screws and making sure their metallic skin was spotless as before.  He was quite proud on his handiwork; Walker looked amazing after he got rid of all dirt covering delicate panels functioning as their skin. Only flaw was left hand that needed to be replaced. Metal plating was completely destroyed and he could only guess what caused such damage.

On other hand Walker’s memory banks let images of dark optic cables and black leather clothes flash in front of every running program. That annoying smirk and unfinished facial features that started to slowly rust due inadequate care. Dark sense of humour and stories told at sleepless night, teaching them about word even before they were finished and ready to be presented as miracle to government. How their prototype ran away in fear when they discovered they should be destroyed. How they helped Walker escape year later, when their owner wanted to lock them away from world and keep them for himself completely obsessed with sleek design and purity of his final product. How they were separated while escaping and how more sturdy and world wise sibling lead government forces away. How that was last time they saw dark robot before they were swept away by river water and found by Cole.
