hi is there any chance you happen to know why the ns switched to making all announcements bilingually? Is that a Randstad thing or are they doing it everywhere now?
Also, what is your opinion on the british robo lady's accent?
Announcements in English have long been a thing, especially around Schiphol but everywhere in the ICD as well. I'm guessing this change was implemented along with the other changes to OBIS (the new display layout and the announcements in Dutch were modified a little as well.) But I can't find the details. I do know from firsthand experience that the bilingual announcements aren't everywhere, my sprinters the past few days around Utrecht were Dutch-only
