so Konoha's choices are Danzo, Tsunade in coma or the miraculously resurrected guy who has shown zero aptitude towards governance as a whole, is a pretty good shinobi on a personal level, but is a complete failure when it comes to organizing other shinobi.

Also gotta wipe away a tear at the parallels in the teacher-student: Minato landing the Hokage job after two of his students died and Kakashi landing the Hokage job after all three of his students ditches him cuz he wasn't training two of them, and the one he did train became a wanted terrorist

can you like. mention this funny little fact that Obito is alive to him? I'd said inform him of everything that guy did after his supposed death, but maybe you do get no service wherever you are, Sakumo. in any case, just tell him that out of his three people in the team only two actually chop chopped to the other side. also yeah reminder that Rin is totally not a psychotic bitch and it's very reasonable she isn't tearing through the rows and rows of dead souls to find Kakashi and tell him everything she saw Obito do (per her own admission in those gross Obito's post mortem scenes)
