I hate it too. Teddy is the worst, the late game shadow reveals under cut the theme, the mystery makes no sense either, and the queer themes are AT THE BEST INTERPRETATION all over the map! Naoto is a whirlpool of issues and confusion and multiple contradictory interpretations on it's own!!

Ask game: talk to me about Zelda!

OTP for them: definitely depends on the game. Midzel for tp, Zelink for st, and Zelimpa for hw and aoc

BROTP for them: Link for the games where i don't ship zelink (which is most lol). for botw I love seeing zelda nerd out with purah and robbie over the sheikah tech. also it's a shame that tetra did nothing in ph because her interacting with linebeck would be hilarious

Other ships: bunches of sapphic ships like zelda x ashei, zelda x fi, or zelda x lana. (I can be convinced for most sapphic zelda ships tbh). also some other zelinks if they're poly (midzelink and miphzelink)

What kind of fic I’d write about them: hw zelimpa where they fall in love over the course of the war

A favorite canon moment: st where Zelda possesses the phantom armor to save link! i love that game so much

lmao alright let's do this H - What is your favorite source text for fandom stuff (e.g., TV shows, movies, books, anime, Western animation, etc.)? Video games. No surprises there, probably. I actually don't watch a ton of movies/TV, and the books I read don't tend to lend themselves to fandom - I like a lot of weird ass, vaguely horror-ish ambiguous stuff and nonfiction. The fantasy I read sometimes does, but I find it harder to get into book fandom maybe because I'm more visual? Dunno! Could be coincidence. E - Have you added anything cracky/hilarious to your fandom? If so, what? There is. So much I have done over the last 5 years lmao. My personal favorite is the McDonald's AU for the Lords where Karl has accidentally made the ice cream machine sentient and it begs him for death at all times. I- Has Tumblr caused you to stop liking any fandoms, if so, which and why? It didn't cause me to stop liking it but I definitely stopped participating in Dragon Age as a fandom because of how nasty and awful people got about it on here. I deleted an old tumblr because a very popular artist put me on blast (we had never spoken before) for reblogging her art and then very casually mentioning on my own blog that I thought her character design was cool and there was an element of similarity between her OC and mine. Because apparently that constituted "stealing" and/or "making her OC about me." Like??? Even if I hadn't been personally witch hunted for literally no reason, that fandom was historically rife with all kinds of rampant biphobia, misogyny, and racism. It's the case for many large and active fandoms but it was SO SO bad for a while and I just... can never go back. I will enjoy my Bioware fantasy on my lonesome from now on (aside from the Emmrich x Reader fic I wrote in a fevered frenzy last year, don't @ me) S - Show us an example of your personal headcanon (prompts optional but encouraged) I'm not really sure what this question is exactly asking but behold my terrible drawing of Karl at his most powerful - Dad Mode, snoring on the beach with a Lottie shaped tan bc she fell asleep on him.

Every time I see a thread with someone complaining about "I got into the fandom because of the canon, not because of someone's OCs or self inserts" I think it must be so sad to be that person. More characters for me to adopt. Skill issue. 2. More Moreau!!! He's so interesting and sad and unexplored. Justice for Dr. Blobfish. 3. Honestly just??? I'd choose Ghost of Your Soul, Light of My Shadow (Naminé living with Kairi and her grandma in Radiant Garden) bc I wrote one chapter for Naminé Week two years ago and then never continued it 😭

(second choice would be Shores of Destiny but I've noticed a lot of my good ideas come from letting that one marinate in the background)

*cracks knuckles* 50k Roxas/Naminé/Xion polyship roleswap Days fic here we go!

Naminé and Roxas get the roleswap (also Larxene and Axel bc having the Days trio be the three girls would be so much fun). The Org makes Roxas use his power to convince Sora and Repliku that Roxas is actually the original Somebody, not Sora, and that Sora stole the Keyblade from Roxas. Axel recognizes Roxas has a connection to Ventus and allows Roxas to escape. Naminé's dual wields True Light's Flight and Sign of Innocence. MarLar maybe. I'd get started on this but I have So Many Other Things to finish first

I like my angst fics and setting up a good gut punch 😆

I have a royalty au bouncing around in my head. all the blue haired KH characters are part of a royal family. there's a masquerade ball that's just an excuse to put ships together. Streli murder mystery going on in the background for the sake of Plot.

a third fic idea I have for the series Transitive Property (where Luxu deals with being a Nobody) is Xigbar seeing Xion as his younger Luxu self and taking psychic damage from that. Fic title is For All Real Numbers as a play on the series title transitive property (if a=b and b=c then c=b) and Xion's No. i designation

Master-in-Training didn't get a lot of attention which is disappointing cause the fandom got really excited for the melmem ending with Kairi going to train with Aqua

I talk a lot about my KH fics so I'll branch out this time: Ender Lilies/Ender Magnolia with interactions between the characters of each game. Mostly Silva and Yolvan bc I think it would be fun for the two with wings to meet each other.
