i know multiple people have left havenfall, including myself. i won't speak to anyone else's reasoning but i saw those things that were being called out in the asks. it's not untrue. i had concerns about them and they were validated by the ( what i can only assume to be) multiple people sending in messages about things going on in the group. i would have left anyways, because things were making me uncomfortable (including stuff not on this blog), but this page gave me courage.

i did receive a message from the havenfall admins stating that they did not allow a poc faceclaim to be accepted for will byers because the admins were uncomfortable erasing noah schnapp’s jewish heritage.

they also stated that while they play a large amount of stranger things characters, they believe the characters to not have significant connections with each other where it would affect the rp.

they also stated that since havenfall is a discord rp, resources are not used as often.

none of this is my personal belief or things i necessarily agree with, i’m just the messenger here. again, if you would like to see screenshots or “proof” of the message, i can always add that. thank you!

i got a message from the admins of havenfall and they stated that since mike and lucas got in a fight in s4, they are allowed to be played by the same person.

already seeing muse hogging as well in havenfall. one admin plays steve harrington, chrissy cunningham, mike wheeler, suzie bingham, and lucas sinclair while the other plays max mayfield, dustin henderson, and nancy wheeler. imho that’s extremely unfair and i’m already worried about power dynamics lmao :/

considering there isn’t a super large pool of stranger things characters playable, this is so weird to me. two characters, maybe. but five? if i’m not wrong, dustin/max and lucas/mike are best friends also, so that’s bound to be bubbly.

the two admins of havenfall play six of the main characters in stranger things themselves....

i don’t understand how they as admins, and their other members, are okay with this to be honest. it screams bubble rp to me.

it’s kinda gross to me that havenfall allow finn, sadie and caleb as fcs when there’s only a limited amount of resources of them of age? especially sadie since you don’t know what scenes of stranger things she was 18 in and i think only has one pack where she’s confidently 19

i was looking over their list and thought this was really questionable. something about using faceclaims that have just turned 18+ is so weird to me.

havenfall asked me to change my will byers fc to a white fc to "fit in with the rest of the family" and when i told them that didn't sit right with me they never replied but instead i woke up this morning to all my muses except will being accepted and a white will byers who's mun apparently ALSO plays eleven (??) being accepted instead lmao i dipped immediately wtf is wrong with the mfrpc

i always have high hopes for new groups, and then these things happen. diversity is encouraged until feathers would be ruffled.
