"Gaeul." It has been awhile indeed since she has last seen her. Probably a little over a month by now.

A familiar voice reached Gaeul’s ears and she instantly smiled, looking at the other woman in positive surprise. “Hayley! I’m really happy to see you. How are you doing?”

This was never the sort of question she would expect from Aster out of all people and because of that, she has to ponder for awhile to produce her answer while taking into consideration everything that has been leading up to this moment right here. “If you were to ask me about a week or two ago, I would say a great, overwhelming amount of pain where it makes you feel breathless and have you thinking that you are drowning. But right now, I would say I am still alive and barely breathing.” 

The question was asked on a lighthearted manner, yet the answer she had received from the other female had caused to fall silent, head slowly tilted to the side as she tried to understand what could have happened to her for her to explain her feeling that certain way. Biting down her bottom lip, she arched a curious brow at her, though her expression remained gentle, filled with concerned. "Did something happen...? It doesn't sound too good that you told me you were in a great amount of pain and I'm sorry I haven't been around to at least try to make you feel better -- how are things now, then? You can talk to me!"
