There really were all kinds of people here, huh? People with all kinds of hairstyles too. She was pretty sure she’d never seen anyone with hair like that back home, ever. Even Carlos didn’t have hair that stuck up that much. It made her wonder if they could recreate it with Jay’s amount of hair. 

“How...did you get your hair to do that? Is it like, magic or somethin’?” she asked, gesturing at his hair. One might have thought she’d have a little more manners, but she was improving. Sort of.

“That’s gotta be magic, with all that color...and spikey-ness.”

Hakuno didn’t do too well at the last game of pool, but came out well enough that she felt confident that another game with another opponent wouldn’t hurt. It was a simple game; a combination of technique, strategy and a pinch of force than complex rules or calculation from what she could tell.

She didn’t expect the short boy to be the one who effortlessly steamrolled her though. He didn’t look it definitely. It was almost like he was some sort of king of games…

    Oh god. That was not supposed to happen. Rin’s eyes widened in concern as he quickly clambered over to the guy. He’d been being an idiot, swinging his sheathed sword around like a lunatic. It hadn’t even really been training, just Rin trying to pass the time. Then this guy had decided it was entirely safe to walk by. It hadn’t been. At the sickening sound, Rin was quick to apologize, tears forming in his eyes.
