So many things could be thunder. I overthought and overthought until I was running out of time. Now this is what we have.

the concept of material inheritance is so alien to me no one in my extended family has ever had anything left to give??? when my great grandmother died (the matraich of the family) the only thing my father 'inherited' was a shitty painting he'd bought for her from a charity shop in the 80s as a broke student. the relatives had straight up forgotten he'd given this trash to them in the first place and went "well there's no money or heirlooms but idk here's this godawful art of hers you always liked for some reason???" and i know that's actually really sad but we both find it incredibly funny
