_____________________________________________ ~Pinkie’s Family tree annnnnnd another Headcanon YAY :D~ -Feldspar Granite Pie and (Sandy) Sandstone Pie are the parents of Igneous Rock Pie.

Not much is known about Igneous’ parents except the fact the rock farm that Igneous and his family worked on was once belonged to Feldspar and Sandstone.. which meant, Igneous grew up on this farm and his parents handed it down to him when he was older and arranged to married Cloudy Quartz. -Rosie Quartz and Limestone Aragonite are the parents of Cloudy Quartz and Chiffon Swirl. Rosie Quartz was the youngest child and the “odd-ball” of her family, she was the only pony to be born a pegasus to two earth ponies.. this is due to her mother having a half sister that was a pegasus.. and so her gene was carried on to Rosie. And not only that, Rosie seem to be the complete opposite to her parents.. instead of being strict and dull just like her parents.. she was full of joy, smiles and laughter. Just like Feldspar and Sandstone who were both arranged to get married, due to the so called ‘Rock country tradition’, Rosie was sorely arranged to be married to Limestone Aragonite by her parents to “hopefully” ground her down to be a “sensible” and “responsible” pony. But, that didn’t happened.. obviously, and thus, Limey (a nickname given by his former wife, much to his disgust) filed a divorced and took Cloudy Quartz with him while Rosie was pregnant with Cloudy’s younger sister, Chiffon Swirl or Lil’ Cupcake was the name given by Rosie. Rosie didn’t followed the rock country traditions and didn’t believed in “arranged marriages”, She inspired her daughter.. Lil’ Cupcake to cook and bake sweets like her, thus, earning her three cupcakes cutiemark. Lil’ Cupcake left Rock country to chase her career to being a baker and own a bakery. Rosie Quartz also had a older sister but, not much is known about her except that she is the mother of Bon-bon. -Obviously, Limestone Aragonite and Igneous Rock’s parents believed in traditions.. so Igneous and Cloudy were arranged to get married at the Rock country’s ‘pairing stone’. A huge rock that is in the shape of a heart, later on in life.. they have four children: Maud Pie (the eldest), Limestone Pie, Marble stone pie and Pinkie pie (who is the youngest of the family). -The Pie family use to be one of the strictest of the rock country.. no one talks to each-other unless it is a greeting, saying bye or simply if they needed anything, No one ever smiles and finally, they seem to work without any breaks unless it’s bathroom, food or sleep. The parents originally arranged their daughters to married some neighboring rock farm’s children in the future.. repeating their old traditions. Obviously, that all changed when their youngest member of the family, Pinkie Pie earned her three balloons mark. Thus, the pies became less strict.. they now celebrate different traditions just as birthdays, cute-ceañeras and even accepting life-styles, just as Pinkie coming out as Pansexual, Maud Pie coming out as Bi and Marble coming out as a lesbian. They’d also decided to let their children married whoever they wanted instead of the neighboring rock farms’ children. -Limestone Pie, later in life is currently married to Flash Sentry.. she now runs her parents’ rock farm, allowing her father to retire and she has a daughter named Grevillea Honey Gem. Honey, moved out to run her own honey farm due to her love for bees.. much to the annoyance to her rock farm neighbors.

Unicorn Headcanons

Unicorns are medium sized, often taller than pegasi and shorter than Earth Ponies (though variations are so common that the average is only that via an entire population). Unicorns are known by their ability to use their magic directly, conducting pure energy through the horns on their heads. Traditionally the ones who raised the sun, moon, and stars, nowadays unicorn jobs range from creating magical electricity for the cities to run, to fine work such as detailed stitching, writing, and accounting. Unicorns tend to be the "nobility" of Equestria as well, a bias that has persisted since before the Royal Sisters came into power. This is a combination of trickery (counterfeit coins used to be a HUGE issue - a unicorn would enchant a copper bit to look gold), investing, and blackmail. Types of unicorn: -Common: The common unicorn is the most frequently found nowadays. With smooth hooves, a plain tail, and a straight, often rounded horn. -Traditional: The traditional unicorn is known by their cloven hooves. The lion's tail and sharp, curved horn were also dead giveaways, but the hooves are what really set them apart. This added mobility over other pony races gave them a double advantage to fine textile skills, which meant before the advent of public education, only rich ponies and unicorns bothered to learn reading and writing. Unicorns can persist with a range of traits from the common to traditional unicorn, like a straight, sharp horn, or cloven hooves. Sometimes, traditional unicorn traits show up in pegasi and earth ponies as a nod to a distant unicorn ancestor. Magic Types: -Aura -Electric -Shaped Sparkles -Angry Magic types are a mix of personal style and power - most ponies tend to use pure aura magic as it is the fastest and simplest. However, some spells, such as Cadence's love spell, require shaped sparkles (in her case, hearts). When a unicorn is angry, they tend to flash the three other types at once in a jagged mess of magic - spells cast this way are powerful, but tend to go wrong very quickly, often just blowing up in the unicorn's face. Magical color is often the same as your eye color - though 5% of unicorns have different colored magic! Stronger spells become brighter, and while they still match your eye color, the brightness can get to be so much that it appears white. Horn Breakage: Breaking one's horn is a painful, often traumatic experience. 1 in 5 ponies will break their horn, though luckily, most of these breaks happen to foals with weaker magic. Regrowing a horn can take up to a year, during which time you cannot use magic. Magic that comes out of a broken horn has no conduit, and often emerges with explosive force, as we've seen with Tempest Shadow. Doctors will need to remove the magic buildup once every week to prevent it from leaking out and breaking your healing horn. Unfortunately, in older and stronger ponies, attempts to remove magic every day for a healing will made the magic grow stronger and stronger, leading to an explosive discharge of magic that permanently shatters the horn, and can often kill the unicorn involved. For older ponies who lose their horns, the general recommendation is a prosthetic. Magical prosthetics, while looking easy, are the hardest to achieve, for first you have to learn to control your magic with a broken horn (when it often wants to explode out). However, this control can allow your magic to grow even stronger than it was before you broke your horn, because the focus itself becomes magical, creating a multiplied effect. Metal prosthetics are the most common, with a cap that slides over the break. These allow a unicorn to remove the prosthetic at the end of the day, and are often stylized in gold, silver, and steel. Spirals on these horns are often done in a repeated pattern of one's own cutie mark to bind it to their magic. Crystal prosthetics can often be the most powerful, as a fast growing crystal is grown around the break, and then shaved down into the shape of a horn before the crystal's growth is magically halted. The crystals bounce the magic around as it is cast - leading to stronger magic overall. However, this method is dangerous, as the crystal cannot be removed when it itches, and sometimes, the crystals will start growing inside and along the rest of the horn. The first recorded instance of a crystal horn occurred in the Crystal Empire - before the Great Betrayal, Sombra grew a crystal horn for the pony Gradient Glitter, who was a young teen at the time. Gradient later left the Crystal Empire and became one of Equestria's first prosthetists. **NOTE THAT I DON'T NECESSARILY FOLLOW CANON**

Feather Flatterfly (Uncle) Wind Sprint (Aunt) ___________________________ This is more of a headcanon than a backstory for the oc.. which btw, I do not actually own the character that appeared in MLP: FIM. I only own my HC design and story for him, so my hc is that this chara which I named ‘Orion’ is the son of Lighting Dust and Rolling Thunder. Orion was formerly a stunt flyer for the wonderbolts when he was the age of 16, his mother, Rolling Thunder approve of her son trying out and was thrill at the fact that he made it in. Much to his mum, Lighting dust’s jealously, she was always bitter towards her sons (especially since one of them were also a wonderbolt flyer). Rolling is best friends’ with Rainbow dash ever since she retired as a flyer for the Washouts to take care of her kids and she managed to convince Rainbow to give her children a chance to try out to be wonderbolt fliers (despite them being children to Rainbow Dash’s enemy, Lighting). She agreed, not wanting to cast judgment that “just because their kids to Lighting, doesn’t mean they couldn’t try out”. Inventually, Two of the kids got in and were flying in the sky with Rainbow (alongside performing stunts at a stunt show). Orion and his brother grew close to dash, as she was like a second mother that they wish their mum, Lighting dust, was. But one day, Orion was badly hurt while doing one of their stunts.. He’d thankfully survived but his right eye ended up going blind, so he was forced to retire from the Wonderbolts (unwillingly) by Rainbow dash. Orion didn’t take his retirement well, becoming bitter and hateful towards Dash and his brother Starscream, finding it unfair that he was the one to be let go from the wonderbolts and not his brother.. it just wasn’t fair. But he did get a job as assistant mechanic for Scootaloo, helping her fix scooters and bikes.. when he was colt, he earned his cutiemark due to him helping to fix his younger brother’s scooter’s wheels due to his mother, Lighting Dust getting fed up of her son riding the scooter inside of their house. And instead of simply grounding him or taking his scooter away for a week, she took things too far by popping the wheels with one of Rolling Thunder’s knitting needles. Obviously, Starscream was really upset.. so Orion decided to help fix his scooter’s wheel by using some band-aids and Star’s pump, thus, earning his mark.
