Another pretty good day.
I've eaten my carbs, done my workouts, completed my relatively short fast time.
It's all good.
No more porridge for a while. Quite low carb and 15hr fasts for the next ten days!

5 Things To Do Before Bed Instead of Looking At Your Phone
A goodnight’s rest is essential to making sure you are prepared for the next day. Many times, the last things you hear or see can also be reflected in your dreams.
Instead of taking those last minutes learning the timeline, try these things:
READ A BOOK
WORK ON PUZZLE
TALK TO SOMEONE IN YOUR HOUSE OR CALL A LOVE ONE
WATCH A MOVIE
PRAY AND/OR MEDITATE
JOURNAL ABOUT YOUR DAYS
Active weekend
The last couple of weekends have been pretty lazy. Just food and chill, lol. Nothing wrong with that, really, as long as it’s balanced out the rest of the time.
And it mostly has been.
But I’m happy that this weekend is going to be an active one. My usual LBT tomorrow morning, then a decent bike ride on Saturday (no idea on distance yet), and a twenty mile hike on Sunday.
We’ll be eating out in a pub on Saturday evening, and lunch in a cafe, while out on the bikes. Nice salad on Friday evening. A couple of treats along the way, no doubt, but just a much healthier weekend than some.

I consistently feel as if I am in the realm of 'getting ready'. What exactly am I getting ready for? Beats me.
The barrier between thought and implementation, for me, is confidence. I have opinions and wants and needs- but I am too timid to reach for them at times. This keeps all of these thoughts and ideas cooped up in my head. It is a funny thing. I know I have the power and knowledge to get where I want to be. Yet, I become discouraged by my own lack of confidence in myself. Before I try, I tell myself that I am not the one to do it. I am not the person that needs to put this out into the world. Yet, if not me, then who am I waiting for?
We have all heard the quote, "Be the change you want to see in the world."
That is exactly it. There is not time to sit and wait and hope someone else will get done what I need to get done. So, I am going to start getting things done. You should too. What are you wanting to get out of this whole deal?
Working out
has been giving me the motivation to do other things I dont normally want to do, like chores, and grown up stuff... like oil changes and cleaning the truck, and paying bills. Getting healthy, and staying healthy is improving my mental health too. All in moderation.
