Don't get me wrong, I write with most of these people, but there's times I'm just... in awe. I love the them all, so dearly. Some of the most talented, devoted, truly kind and wonderful people out there, and I know some are probably forgotten but there's just too many to name. Everyone I follow, I admire from a distance bc I'm too chickenshit to really do more threads / interactions like I wanna.

That and well...If anything untoward happened, she could at least fight her way out without having to worry about dragging someone else along. Tomoko looks at the way she shakes a bit at the thought of going in there, and even though she hates dealing with ghosts and other scary ass spirits, it beats having to watch the other practically vibrate into a puddle.

brows pinch. head tilts. it isn't fear or even disgust that paints freckled features. it's concern. she's had cut-up hands plenty of times before, the crooked slice of a mirror across her left palm the largest testament. (terrible story, that. she's still not sure whether that thing in the mirror was really there.) she knows it's a terrible thing to try to clean up on your own, even for the mildest of injuries. & his don't look very mild. she's got no room to pry -- how many half-baked quarter-truths has she fed curious parties to explain bruises & scars before? it isn't her business.

"o-okay." she doesn't move closer, unsure how he might react. the same way she'd approach a stray animal, ducking her head as if trying to make herself smaller. "i kn - i kn-now s'h-hard t-t-to ... um. cl - clean up h-han-nds l-like th - that. i c - i c-can help." isn't this familiar? one of them bleeding & the other offering to help.

softly, slowly, & unafraid, she reaches out one of her cold hands. "i w - i w-wan-nt t' help. c-can ... um. w-will you let me ... ?"

this is so much better than therapy. her lap is full of kittens, and she gets to watch her beautiful date play with them, as well. it makes her wonder why she wastes her money and time on a professional. grinning, haeun picks up a particularly chubby kitten to pet while she continues to watch sami.

“it looks like they want to adopt you,” she observes with obvious affection, leaning closer to tuck one of her fingers beneath sami’s chin, playfully nudging it up before her hand withdraws. “i’m not sure who is cuter: you, the kittens, or both of you together.” haeun has barely taken her eyes off sami, despite the promise of incredibly adorable kittens; she is far more invested in her human company.

Assumptive ; humans ( or, those appearing so, ) knew better, than to travel to the BAY, a practical cove of corpses and shipwrecks. BARONA, was not far - perhaps, they had not passed through the town. A gesture, to grand pools that surround him, their algae and crabs and mollusk residents eager for a free feast.
