Gray sat there or rather, the Silence sat there since she was dressed for a job ‘interview’. One that Zsasz practically forced her into, how did she end up owing him so many damn favors...  

She couldn’t even begin to fathom what Ms. Falcone must have thought of her showing up looking like a goth mime and plopping her simple and plain business card down in front of her. ‘The Silence’ with a number printed underneath, black lettering against a light gray card. Gray had run out of the fancier cards with the cute mime on it. 

Zsasz had said to smile, so she took the time to paint on a pleasant smile rather than her customary haphazardly thrown on one. Gray wondered if he bothered to tell Ms. Falcone that she is mute.

Ever since Paris, Tina had been looking after Jacob best she could. She came to his bakery to get her lunch, they went out for coffee, they went to each other’s for dinner. It was purely platonic but she was glad to have the company, and someone who missed Queenie like she did. Not to mention, she was worried he would be a target of Grindelwald’s. She was leaving the bakery with a cream bun when she saw a familiar head of blonde hair disappear around a corner. 

Dashing after the figure whilst trying to remain inconspicuous, she eventually followed her into an alleyway, still clutching her paper bag with her bun inside. “Queenie, you can’t be here.” She told her little sister firmly.

Crimson eyes glanced briefly at the girl, Bellatrix's child. She showed promise, just as her mother had at this age. And quite frankly, the Lestranges had always been the most loyal, though he did wonder about her loyalties due to who raised her. While the Malfoys were in his inner circle, Lucius's loyalty wasn't as strong as it once had been, and while it didn't worry the man he needed to be cautious.

“Has your time with your mother proven fruitful?” His voice cut the silence in the air. “Ophelia was it?” he said calmly.

            While Promise only visited several times a year, Iracebeth was a far more common sight. She seemed hellbent on strengthening the link between her image and death, though there were few enough mourners around on this day that she doubted she’d be spotted. Her own guards were hovering at the gates, waiting on their mistress dutifully. She knew better than to show weakness around them. In fact, as far as they were aware, she was present for the same reason as her sister.

            Of course, she wasn’t. The day that Iracebeth visited her parents was the day she renounced her crown. And, of course, her husband not being royal by blood, was buried in Salazen Grum. At least, that was the reason she gave. Even in betrayal and death, she couldn’t bear to have him too far from her. Still, she had enough relations and friends who had passed away that trips to the cemetery were at least a monthly occurrence.

            Though she was happy enough to visit her deceased relations, she wasn’t quite ready to meet a living one. Squinting into the distance, she bit her lip as she realized just who else was visiting. “Of course. 365 days of the year and she picks this one…” She sighed – still better than Mirana. Faced with one of the moments she wished she could blend in like the others, she would instead keep quiet. Maybe Promise wouldn’t notice her – wishful thinking, more than likely, but it was worth a hope.
