Heather Button had three people die on her property during her lifetime and didn't recognise any of them, like I get she didn't really know them, but I feel like an army man, a scout leader and a pantless politician who you were on first name basis with would be a little familiar upon seeing them.

“Ghosts” headcanons to spare, anyone?

Well, it’s never worked before, but I’m not yet ready to resort to Ghosts Wiki, so let’s try again:

Pick a ghost and tell me a fun fact you headcanon about them – one you wouldn’t mind being used in my fic.

PS I'd like to specify that I'm looking for a "You know that one time when I did something funny/silly/outrageous/etc" kind of thing.

New plan: we're also going to need a story about Heather. And maybe Alison - as in, something the ghosts woud know about her, but not Mike.

Poor Heather Button.

Her ancestor was a deceitful murderer of his poet cousin, her other ancestor was a cowardly murderer of her great-grandmother (it was never proven).

The C.O. of the unit stationed at her house dies right there when she’s, what, in her 20′s? She lets little boys camp on her grounds in the 80′s and the scout master dies horribly. She lets her friend host a fund raiser on her property in the 90′s and he dies of a heart attack.

And when she dies, they all just stand there and stare at her.

When Heather is dying and all the ghosts start complaining about their deaths, Kitty and the Captain both stay quiet 👀

Cap's pillow is under the covers on his bed so he was possibly not doing "pillow talk" then or he was and he just waited for Alison to move it so he could start giving it that heartbreaking little kiss 💔

Cap would've definitely known Fanny's husband was called George but he sounds so perplexed when he talks about Fanny saying George in his room; so what if it's bc that's HIS name and he's confused bc she never normally calls him that

In the Ask the Ghosts interview (post filming series 2) Charlotte Ritchie says that Alison is her role that's been most like herself, and watching the first ep Alison is very different in that to the rest of the show. I think episode 1 Alison is very similar to Charlotte's characters in Fresh Meat and Siblings, and after that she's basically just Charlotte and I love it

So throughout the episode Fanny makes comments about how you shouldn't push someone out of a window in a clear reference to her own demise; and Mary also refers to defenestration SO what if that's how Mary really died as well (I've already mentioned my theories about her death in previous posts and this tracks w my hc so 👀)

I think that the reason Pat suggested haunting is mostly bc he wanted them to have a group activity like his scouts used to (I mean look at his smiling face when it doesn't work but he's still happy they did it)

When Alison was in a coma was Mike just chilling in Button House with the ghosts and no hot water for a fortnight??
