May 19, 2015::: So the work continues on those miniature photo transfers I posted last month. Got 16 of these babies ready for a show at #HewittGallery #NYC #MMC. Opens May 29th - Sept 18. Delivered to the gallery yesterday with a couple other pieces printed on aluminum and canvas. We'll see how many make it to the wall. They are part of a new body of miniatures - "Closer: A Series of Intimacies". I felt like rebelling against the 'go bigger' religion of the arts. Make it small and intimate instead and test how that can dominate a space.
