I have genuinely hated making this model, Hexmark Destroyer it’s called. But have enjoyed turning it into a Flayer Virus infected body horror piece. Here’s the official fluff on the character:

The latest additions to my necrons, the Transcendent C’tan Shard and Hexmark Destroyer! I’m very excited to use these in battles, the C’tan has a lot of mobility compared to the rest of my army, and hopefully the Hexmark will deter enemy charges with it’s free overwatch.

Another delightfully madcap Necron completed; the Hexmark Destroyer 😁 wonderful scuttly legs and a ridiculous number of guns attached to his power source - such a cool, weird design 🤣

Hexmark Destroyer! The first new addition to my army in over a decade. I'm very happy with the way the whole model turned out. I worked a bit on the glazing techniques to get smooth color transitions, and it worked in some places and not in others. I tried on the shoulders, but just ended up breaking out the airbrush in the end.

Tesseract Glow is my new favorite paint. 10/10, would change nothing about it.
