Rook's encounters with dragons in Thedas
CONFESSION:
I always kill the dragons that are close to populated areas because they are too dangerous to be left alone and I role play it as they are affecting the livelihoods of the common people. And because of the loot you get, it does not make sense to let them live. And its fun if your love interest is with you.
So I know the devs revealed that Lusacan, like all high dragons, is female, and that Elgar’nan is probably disconnected from that reality and/or projecting his own identity onto his dragon thrall, but I have a counter argument for why Elgar’nan refers to Lusacan as “he:”
Why not just make Lusacan a trans dragon who was born AFAB but personally identifies more masculine? I know we’re all about how gender identity isn’t exactly how it is in humans when it comes to animals, because we can’t really know and whatever…
But this is Dragon Age. It’s queer from the get-go. So I’m choosing to headcanon Lusacan as a trans male dragon, because why the hell not? Dragons are also like hella intelligent canonically, they just don’t communicate how people do. Why wouldn’t they also have complicated ideas and thoughts about identity?

CONFESSION:
I actively avoid dragon fights in this series. partially because I think it's funny that I've played a series called dragon age and have basically avoided killing a dragon, but I'm also just here for the story and companions. I don't gaf about scary boss battles! I'm literally just a girl!
CONFESSION:
I named my Bearded Dragon after one of the Inquisition high dragons. Meet Gamordan. He was rescued from a hoarder who had over 100 of them and could not take care of them properly. I had previously had one before that lived to be thirteen and I really wanted to have another. Now Gamordan is living the good life. I reside in Henderson Nevada and we had a huge grasshopper problem back in late July and while it was annoying for me Gamordan was really enjoying what I brought to him.
