                       “  I  THINK  I  TOTALLY  BLEW  IT  ”          ...        lynn  said,  walking  over  to her  boyfriend  and  taking  a  seat  on  his  lap.  he  sat  on  the  edge  of  his,  and  lynn  had  snuck  in.  she  had  just  gotten  back  from  her  secret  trip  out  of  town  to  dance  in  front  of  a  college  board.  it  was  right  outside  of  town,  and  if  she  nailed  it  her  tape  would  go  to  colleges  all over  the  us.  lynn  felt  like  she  didn’t  do  well  though.  she  laid  her  head  against  his  chest.  “  i  think  they  hated  me.  ”

                        “   did  what?  ”      ...     the  teen  with  with  a  smile  turning  upwards  on  her  plump  lips.  “  had  fun?  ”   lynn  had  obviously  had  plenty  of  run  ins  with  henry  bowers,  none  of  them  good  by  any  means,  but  that  didn’t  mean  she  had  anything  against  his  sister.  lynn  knew  that  she  maybe  one  of  the  few  that  thought  in  such  a  way  though.  it  was  silly,  how  much  a  name  could  scare  people  off.  her  last  name  didn’t  do  much  to  anyone  though.  the  name  bertucci  barely  registering.  if  she  was  lucky,  maybe  someone  would  remember  the  kind  waitress  at  the  local  diner  with  such  a  name.  (  or  maybe  they  would  remember  how  she  died.  )

                       “  i  guess  that  makes  sense.  ”  lynn  herself  hardly  had  much  fun.  since  the  passing  of  her  mother  she  lived  in  a  small  apartment  with  her  birth  father,  a  man  with  the  last  name  marsh  that  her  mother  wished  to protect  lynn  from.  with  her  gone,  she  had  no  one  left  to  protect  her  though.  days  were  long,  leaving  the  house  without  getting  his  wrath  set  upon  her  was  impossible  most  days.  the  abuse  harsh,  making  her  feel  even  more  for  her  half  sister  who  had  to  live  though  this  before  making  her  escape.  people  in  town  knew  what  he  was like,  but  they  did  nothing?  it  wasn’t  their  place  after  all  right?  “  derry  isn’t  exactly  fun.  ”

          Vive su vida de la manera más cerrada posible. Cada cosa en él cree puede dar a conocer sobre cómo realmente es y por eso siempre tiene una imagen cuidada. La posición que tiene como presidente de la clase la obtuvo más que nada como un actor que busca tomar un rol determinado. Al ponerse su disfraz serio es capaz de estar centrado en sus deberes más que en sus inquietudes. 

          Su familia es muy conservadora, y desde pequeña edad le han dejado muy claro que el mundo para ellos está dibujado con muy notorios ‘no’s y migajas de ‘sí’s. Pero lo que más se condena son aquellos compartamientos desviados, como bien es la homosexualidad. Irónico es que su hijo es uno de los chicos más homosexuales que jamás pisó la tierra, pero la costante homofobia que carga consigo lo tiene siempre a rajatabla.
