Future Flash - Hoei - 1980

What happened during that run-in with the guild, Hoei?
Hoei: I purchased a Rainbow Wing. Trumbeak swooped down to snag it from me, thinking I was just some Normal Pokemon. [Psh]
Hoei: The guild promised that if they could keep the feather they’d all leave me the hell alone in the future, so, I mean. That works. I guess. [I bitched enough, so]
Hoei: Okay, fine. And?
Valery: AND, one of their members thinks he knows about what we’re looking for!
Hoei: Well, you, you just dragged me into this.
Valery: Oh shut up. He says he’s been studying the Diamond Kingdom, that’s where my sister and sister in law live. He might know something about the mirror pieces! So I sent him a letter and--
‘I have not yet come across any major pattern for the pieces appearances. There have been sightings across history in cities, coastal towns, caves, and most recently, Snowpoint City. I have spoken with my guild leader and she has agreed to let me aide in your search, but I would suggest speaking to the Snowpoint City branch leader and the Amp City branch leader.
‘We may ask for only little reward should we find the pieces as our guilds must keep running somehow, but it would be an honor to serve a Legendary. You may visit me in the Diamond Kingdom at your leisure or find me in Steel City’s guild the week this letter should arrive. -Zucchini’
So who are these artifact hunters, anyways? They sound reputable if they have branches worldwide.
Hoei: They try to piece together parts of our history that don’t make sense. Some pieces they keep with them or in museums, other Pokemon go out to research areas. I’d say they’re like archaeologists. If that matters.
Hoei: I think the guild HQ is actually down the street. We might as well go today, Valery. See if your brand new friend is there.
She always operated through pen and paper. The Porygon she kept in her house, cut off from the mainframe and given routine daily checks, kept tabs on everything she had: all of the eggs, berries, and robot husks that got traded between her and other Pokémon. She always asked for money, but there were two items she would trade any of her stock for, no questions asked: the mirror pieces, and dragon scales. For three years now she worked tirelessly, scoping out the city on a level that Bug could only dream of. She was a creature of the sky, but Hoei was born and raised for the underground. She knew all of the best places to hit, all the best people to talk to. She was a charmer. But sometimes, she'd run into dumbasses. 'Look, darling, my friend drew a picture of these. If you don't have them or the money, then you're not getting this fucking egg. Do you know what I went through to get this?! This is a purebred Horsea! A king of the sea!' The Jynx laughed, covering her face with a sickly sweet smile. Under the dim lights all Hoei could think about was the sunken in face of a Froslass. 'Are you sure this isn't one of yours? I know how you work, Hoei, and pure bred or not, I'm not going to give you money for it. That's...that's a bad deal.' Hoei stuck out her tongue, balled up her fists. But slowly a smile crossed her face. 'Then I'm done doing business with you tonight,' she said, her tone denoting that she would not continue talking. She bounced off the table and scittered out into the night, scratching her chin. She looked around at all the buildings, quietly slipping the Horsea egg back into the pouch at her side. There was another Pokémon she could try. He might be more willing and easy to talk to, but he was a day Pokémon. Hoei purses her lips, tapped her foot against the sidewalk, and took off down the street. Eight others in the area would be up by now. Eight Pokémon she didn't know well but had information on, for carrying such things as Donphan tusks and Ninetales hide. If anything the items she sought would be there, right? If only she hadn't thought that every night for three years.
What does Hoei think of those artifact hunter people?
Hoei: I had a run-in with one of the members one time, but...we settled that real fast.
Is ANYONE reputable named zucchini? come on. I wouldnt trust them. Sounds like a fake name.
Hoei: Thus far you’re less reputable than someone who had an official guild seal on their letter.
Hoei can't you be nicer to the legendary? wouldnt more get accomplished that way
Hoei: [groans] what time is it?
Hoei: [SHRIEKS]
