Weird question. So I was at the state fair tonight and one of the stage acts I saw was. Um. Holy cultural appropriation, Batman. And I'm mad and writing a letter to the fair about it. Is there anyone here from a Native culture that practices hoop dancing who'd be willing to look it over for me? I'm pretty sure I covered all the particularly important bases, but like. I'm not Native. It's entirely possible there was something I found irritating that was actually super-offensive, or vice-versa. Please let me know if you'd be my second set of eyes before I send this off.
