WEDNESDAY 1/19 – RENEW January is the perfect time to pursue renewal in our lives. I’m not just talking about a new workout routine or trying the latest fad diet. No, I am talking about becoming a NEW PERSON IN CHRIST! Are you ready to surrender your life to Christ? Not just the “church” part of your life but your WHOLE being…all your habits, all your thoughts and all your actions? Renew – to begin or take up again; to resume, to make effective for an additional period; to restore or replenish; to make, say, or do again. to revive; reestablish; to recover; to restore to a former state; make new or as if new again; to begin again; recommence; to be restored to a former state; become new or as if new again.* Therefore if anyone is in Christ, this person is a new creation; the old things passed away; behold, new things have come. Now all these things are from God, who reconciled us to Himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation, namely, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not counting their wrongdoings against them, and He has committed to us the word of reconciliation. Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were making an appeal through us; we beg you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God. He made Him who knew no sin to be sin in our behalf, so that we might become the righteousness of God in Him. – 2 Corinthians 5:17-21 NASB In keeping with my “theme” please watch this message by Pastor Ryan Welshans, entitled EVERYWHERE.
