What the water gave me with horriblyefficient
Silva watched agent 007 get shot and fall to his apparent death through a grainy feed of a railroad camera. The sight filled him with a mixture of emotions. The man was an adversary, Silva needed the list Patrice was carrying, therefore any obstacle removed, especially an obstacle removed by the MI6 itself was a win. Still, Silva had been following James Bond’s career for some time now and had been looking forward to them meeting. The new prodigal son and the one who had been scorned and discarded. Bond’s death evoked a curious sense of déjà vu and a vague disappointment.
Except that Bond proved to be more resilient than expected. One of the people in charge of keeping an eye on the agent informed Silva that Bond had been fished out of the water, wounded and unconscious. He was brought to a tiny medical facility in a coastal village.
Silva reacted at once. He gave the order to keep Bond sedated and to treat him, but not to remove the bullet shards. It would serve him better to have Bond weakened. Silva himself got on a helicopter. This required a personal touch. He had the list in his possession, he could afford a small diversion.

When Bond woke up, Silva was sitting in a chair in the corner of the room, dressed impeccably in a creme suit, reading reports on a tablet.

☼: Which tropes do you find overused/boring? Hmm. This is actually harder than I thought it would be to answer. Honestly? I could role play most any trope, provided I felt it was being written in a refreshing/quirky way. I mean, my Tiago/Silva is a heavily trope-laden interpretation (in case you hadn’t noticed!). I think I’ve managed to squeeze in everything bar the kitchen sink. I was very proud of the whole “coming out of the closet” moment that happened in a young!Tiago RP. Having my muse being forcibly outed as bisexual in M’s household was... a cathartic experience. My M writer is fabulously sensitive and wrote very true in her portrayal of a mother caring for her adopted son in that scenario. It was a pleasure to write with her.

♚ Do you agree with fandom interpretation of your character?
I don’t really know much about fandom interpretation tbh. Q’s smart, sarcastic and turns into an awkward teenage girl around Bond bc he has a crush on him, if that’s how the fandom interpret him then I’m with the fandom c:
I’m not quite sure about the fandom’s opinion on Q’s professional side though. I always see him as a soldier of sorts, that is if he had to make a choice between national security and personal well-being, feelings or relationships, he would choose the country. (And yes that means if he had to sacrifice Bond or himself for it he would make the call)

Not really, given that I’ve only started playing him a month ago :)

A short one involving 00Q relationship (because I’m trash)
If Q died on Bond, Bond would move on. He would continue to be 007 and shoot for Queen and country, and leave his mourning to his old age (if he could make it).
If Bond died on Q, Q would finish that particular job and quit.
It’s not like Bond doesn’t love Q or Q loves Bond too deeply, it’s just that they make different choices based on their emotional capacities and senses of responsibility.

Queuing in the airport in Chicago, Bond was still a bit worn out. Well, he’d sleep on the plane. That’s practically what flights were for, in his line of work… and he could sleep anywhere.
He felt like he kept seeing movements out of the corner of his eye. A bit of green, in this case. He closed his eyes in a long blink, reminding himself that first class was alcohol and sleep in one tidy package.
When he was finally on the plane, he sighed when he saw that someone was in his seat. That green flash again. He blinked again.
“Excuse me,” he said politely, “I believe I have the aisle.”
The professor didn’t often take planes when he travelled to scientific conventions, yet the distance between where he lived and the convention was a bit too far to drive. The convention was paying for air fare, though - first class, they had told him. He took the offer, as he had never been in first class before.
Along with him, was the metastable compound, though he was very ready to take it out of his pocket and stick it in his carry on if it didn’t start behaving. He didn’t need to be thrown from the flight if the ball of energy couldn’t be contained (at least there were significantly less flash cameras at the airport than he had expected).
Philip was attempting to shove the compound back into his pocket when he was politely addressed. Looking up, he panicked for a moment. Was he supposed to be there? Had he made a mistake?
“Oh, I-I’m so sorry! I must have uh - must h-have read the number wrong.” He was quick to stand, gathering his things.

Bond smiled charmingly, not moving back at all. It was rare - rare - for a Q tech to be in the field with an agent; if MI6 had any idea of the degree of flirtation that had been building between the two, they never would have been given adjoining rooms.
“The way I see it, either we give in or we don’t,” the agent said, his voice a low purr, “There won’t be many other opportunities like this…”
”What’s on your mind, 007?” Q breathed, tilting his head slightly as if to get better access to Bond’s lips, but didn’t advance any further than that. “I still need to be convinced that when you talk about ‘opportunities’, you mean more than just ‘Q’s easy, and I’m horny’.”
He looked down between them, reached up one hand and slowly tugged loose Bond’s tie, ”After all, you’re notorious for your reputation of having affairs during missions.”
