Rewatching the House Davinos fight from Episode 4, and I still cannot get over the fact that Lady Aranessa full on bit a ghoul.

Like. She does a LOT in this fight. This lady is not wilting flower. She's so level headed and pragmatic and tactical, and she is probably the primary reason anyone survived, and I love her. But this is at the start, this is a tiny throw-away moment, undead have smashed their way into the room, she's been captured, pinned, forced to watch as a young man is brutally murdered in front of her, and her first instinct is to BITE.

And to bite a ghoul. You know. The flesh eating undead. There's such a sort of ... 'the biter bit' over here.

It was tactical. She needed her mouth free to sound the alarm and try and get someone to support her. But she just. She bit a ghoul.

She's so vicious? And so practical? Between this and kicking her way free, squirming in the ghoul's grasp to give Julien flanking on it, breaking furniture to fashion an escape, kicking off her fancy shoes to run like hell ... She's so practical.

And just. She bit it. Helpless and weaponless and pinioned in its arms. She said hell with that, and she bit it.

Someone propose to that woman. I'll propose to that woman. Hot damn.
