“Rams (Hrútar)”
directed Grímur Hàkonarson
Okay? I don't know if it's a language thing or a Icelandic film thing but okay? It felt a little dry to me and left me wondering why I needed to truly care about these brothers when it was more about the sheep. Even this poster shows a man and his ram not brothers and their flocks. It's also kinda traumatic. I really didn't need to "see" sheep getting shot. I would've been nicer to have it implied rather than have it be partly shown. Though watching it, this movie does what Australian movies do and that's focus on the landscape. It'll be interesting to see what the Australian take on Rams does. #rams #Hrútar https://www.instagram.com/p/CGzaA0onMlL/?igshid=16ljr7j3aix1t
