You were kind of the underdog in the villa.

Not in a “nobody-likes-you” way, but more like a “you’re a little too quiet, a little too observant, and way too hot for your own good” kind of way. You floated through the first week — grafting when you had to, making girls laugh when you were tipsy, but never really coupling up with anyone who made your heart drop.

Until she walked in. Late arrival. Bombshell. Olivia Rodrigo. And you damn near choked on your water.

“Is that—?” “Holy shit.” “Wait, I LOVE her music.” “...She’s actually unreal, like, she’s fit fit.”

That night, around the fire pit, she said your name first. "Can I pull you for a chat?" Your soul left your body. “Y-Yeah. Sure.” You took your drink, and the two of you sat in the bean bags, facing the pool. Your heart pounded in your chest as you waited for her to speak, legs crossed, pinky brushing hers without meaning to.

"So," Olivia said, smiling, "I literally only came here for one reason." You blinked. “And what’s that?” Her tongue grazed her bottom lip. “To meet you.” You didn’t know what to say. No witty response. No flirty one-liner. Just heat rising up your neck and a sudden inability to breathe.

That night, the producers made you share a bed with her. You swore they were doing it on purpose. And maybe they were. Because under the covers, neither of you touched each other, but both of you stared at the ceiling in perfect silence — hearts racing, knees just barely brushing. You whispered, “Liv?” She whispered back, “Yeah?” “If you kissed me right now… I think I’d combust.”

She laughed softly. "Then maybe I’ll wait till morning.” You didn’t sleep at all.
