Happy new years guys and let me start this off by saying, FUCK YOU 2018!
I said at the begging of the year that this felt like a big reflection year for me, and I’d be redrawing a lot of my old stuff, or revamping characters I’d basically left for dead. I had planed a lot more than I had gotten done including finally finishing a comic I’d been messing with since high school. Yeah, I didn’t get to do that. Obviously.
Over the last four or so years I’ve been basically holding in a ton of grief and anger that I never properly dealt with and now I’m paying the price for that. I’ve been feeling a very strong mix of depression, rage, and abandonment. November and December in particular have been basically hell.
However I’m hopeful for the future. This is Peter (the mime boy) and Clyde (the ghost) they were for a comic I had an idea for way back in 2012, I was fresh out of high school, starting college and liked the idea of a story about monsters forced to go to one singular school because normal schools wouldn’t have them. Not sure if I’ll go back to the idea as a comic or if I’ll turn it into more of a young adult, tween book. I think a part of me missed these three and I kinda want to at least go back and do something with them. I do really like how this came out though.
