It looks like Tropical Storm Elsa could be heading in our direction. It’s a long way out, so anything could happen, but either way, I’m gonna start getting ready now.

Elsa, I know you've become the 5th element and all but you seriously need to take it easy on those new goddess powers you got going on.

Because 1) I live in Florida and 2) I’m a former Cast Member so yes, entitlement to make fun of said appropriately named storm coming to Florida is mandatory and acceptable. 

Still, take your hurricane preparations seriously folks. No matter what happens it is always best to be prepared.

Gwyn has been helping me to computer all day. Tristan is snuggling Tristan's Fetch and Tug Buddy. The Big Doggies are grumpy about their protective sheets & masks, but we really can't let 1000-1400 lb hooved critters in the house (and the wind is impressive). Power is flickering but hasn't gone out (astounding). Net is occasionally up. It's been a nap day.

The worst of it has pretty much passed for me, but still gotta be on the lookout for storm surge, flooding and downed power lines & power outages.
