Terror realm stuff i love these guys
Genuinely surprised about the lack of Rocketeer and Hwando content, not on their own mind you but as a couple. Idk i just think they would have a VERY interesting dynamic. Cause you got this former rebel leader who's grappling with the guilt of indirectly ending so many lives, someone who genuinely feels remorse and wishes to atone for what he's done. And then a remorseless monster who takes joy in the destruction he causes and even deflects blame onto the people he's killed. It's more than just an opposites attract situation, it's like they're literally at eachothers throats with how their ideologies collide. Theres so much conflict going on, so much potential for story writing and how a relationship between them could even work. Maybe its toxic, maybe its doomed., its anyones guess really. idk ive just been thinking about them for months now and i still have yet to see ANYTHING about them.... im still feeding off the crumbs of their unique carry animation,,, i know what you are Hwando...
Another little thing id like to mention before i close out this rant, Rocketeer loves to pester and pick on people,,, and Hwando is most susceptible to pranks... do with that what you will.
New swords (GIFs) alert!
Trivia for today are the two handsomely Korean swords that recently added into the demo.
1) Oceanâs OathÂ
Oceanâs Oath is a long sword, inseparable, described as âTwin Dragon swordâ (ì룥êČ, Ssanglyong-geom). In the game, its description includes âthe sea remembers the warriorâs oath. The general who stood up with the dragon to protect the people won a lonely victory in dozen of battlesâ. (Description from in-game, through Na-seong Kimâs Twitch stream)
Thus, âOceanâs Oathâ could have been loosely based on the sword(s) that belonged to a famous Korean navy admiral, Yi Sun-sin (1545-1598). Yi Sun-sin was famed for his victories against the Japanese navy during the Imjin war in the Joseon Dynasty. According to records, the famed Admiral fought in at least 23 recorded naval battles, all against the Japanese, whilst lacking necessary supplies and being outnumbered.
(Statue of Admiral Yi Sun-sin in Seoul, Wikipedia) In the meantime, all of his swords (the âTwin Dragonâ swords and another one for decoration) have been declared as National Treasures in South Korea. Unfortunately, the âTwin Dragonâ seemed to have been lost.Â
The two Fable Arts from âOceanâs Oathâ are Emergency Dodge and Blade Wind.Â

2) Carved MasterpieceÂ
âCarved Masterpieceâ is a long sword, inseparable, that is a âreplicaâ of the legendary âChiljidoâ ( ìč ì§ë , Seven-branched Sword). I have made a post about it here.Â
The two Fable Arts from âCarved Masterpieceâ are Guard Parry and Seven-branched Sword.Â
