(Black diamond welcomed Steven, Garnet, Pearl and Pink gold stone into the palanquin. Black sillmanite hopped out of her chair to watch what was going on as Black pearl returned, carefully carrying a yellow bubble.)

Black diamond: Steven, I don’t know if you’ve heard of what Yellow’s been doing with... Gem shards.

Steven: I know. (He frowned.)

Black diamond: Well, when I found out I wanted to find a way to give them a chance at a pain free life. I asked for them all to be sent to me and... Well... The gems I introduced you to used to be those shards.

(Garnet gasped, clamping her hands over her mouth so quickly she knocked away her visor. Pearl moved to do the same but found her hands held between Pink goldstones.)

Pink goldstone: Isn’t it wonderful? That’s how I was made too.

Black diamond: Please, let me show you before you judge. (She took the bubble containing the forced amalgamation of gem shards between her palms. She held them close, her hood falling back to show her face. A tear fell down into her hands and a bright light bloomed between them. A newly made, perfectly formed gemstone rose and formed into a perfectly stable gem. It landed on the soft couch and looked around.)

Steven: Are- are you ok?

 Hybrid: I’m ok I think. Where am I? Who am I?

Garnet: Does it hurt?

Hybrid: Does what hurt? I’m not in pain. I feel good but confused. I feel like... Um... I’ve been not me in a long time... Like there were lots of voices in my head but now... Now it’s just me. Is that ok? 

Steven: You really did heal her.

Black diamond: Not exactly. I can’t make them the gems they were but I can try and help them.

Hybrid Squad

I want to start a squad with the gem-hybrid (like Steven). I will start with my Claire. If you want to add your cutie (or cuties) reblog with a pic and his/her name. Another redesign (right)! Racheline, the fusion of Rachel and Caroline. It was kind of a given that she’d be redone once the other two were redrawn. (Ellie is probably next) She’s a superhero (literally) with a sharp tongue.

Another redesign I’ve been wanting to do for a while now. Finally got around to Rachel, the sister of my other main hybrid gemsona, Caroline! Reworked her shirt and skirt and she looks a tad older, since she and Caroline turned 16 since I last drew them. and look at that. Her hands do, in fact, exist.
