"Jean!" Marco chimed brightly with a signature smile.
"What's up, Freckles?" He waved at him, grinning because his smile never failed to brighten Jean's mood.

Marco was shocked at te touch for a moment before he eased into it, smiling as a blush dusted his cheeks. “I love you too Jean bean.”
Jean chuckled and raised his eyebrows, looking up at his boyfriend.
"Jean bean, really?"

Jean felt so nervous. No, he felt sick to the stomach. He'd been allowed to visit his friend after their little adventure with a titan and, while he himself wasn't feeling too peachy, his top priority was his friend.
The nurse finally opened the tent door after the longest five minute wait of the blond's life, and he practically ran inside.
He was breathing. Thank Sina. Well, of course he was breathing, saving Marco had lost Jean literally his left hand, but he was still so worried.
"Hey!" he greeted a little too loudly, resulting in the nurse shushing him. Jean glared backwards before coming over to kneel by his bed.
A relieved grin didn't leave his face, however much discomfort the lack of a hand caused him. It was in a sling, and he was told that the least attention he paid it, the better.

Typing quickly on her laptop, the pony tailed brunette sighed. She was taking down notes she missed and texting Marco, who wasn't feeling too well about himself. "I can't be much help to humanity" "I suppose I'll make a good bed warmer" "I'm already sure Jean can't look me in the eye anymore" were some of the messages he sent her. Hanji tried reassuring his complaints. Marco fought, he did what he needed to do... The freckled boy was fortunate to be found alive when he was. After a near death experience like such, he should relax and try to take it easy, but here he was still worrying about humanity. Guess it's a soldier thing. Finally finishing her notes, she sent him a quick "I'm leaving now." then proceeded to shove her belongings into her side bag. That poor bag went through hell with her, a good friend had gotten her it before moving away. The college student took her leave, walking to her car and placing her bag on the seat. She started the car and drove to where Marco was staying. It was a nice building, maybe a little too nice for the girl. Maneuvering quickly through the building, Hanji stood infront of his door and knocked sharply three times, waiting for Marco to tell her to come in.
