If I was gonna read es ! stories, what should I read?

#yapping #i kind of assumed es ! would be even worse written bc #(in general) it seems like the !! writing is getting better (on a technical level at least) over time #but realistically not all ES !! stories are created equally #like just looking at the climax stories... raison detre is in a class of its own. the others can't even compete #but i'm seeing you guys say es ! is actually better written than es !! ???#and i. just want to know the lore. i'd like to read character driven and emotional es ! stories if they exist #so what should i read?#hypothetically.
