I just read your excellent post about sails (Sails part 2) and I have a question. On „the Terror (2018)” wen they abandoned the ships to walk out, they leave 7 men behind with the order to sail out the ship if the ice brakes up. I do know that the HMS Terror is not the biggest ship and that it additionally was rigged in such a way that you could do with a smaller crew. Still. Is 7 a sufficient number to sail the Terror? Because I somehow doubt that. Thank you for your time and have a nice day :)

I understand your scepticism, I am a bit torn myself. Now the terror only had a crew of 67 and 21 of them were Able seamen. That would make the seven a third, if the helmsman was left out of the equation. But I doubt it. That would leave us with six seamen for the three masts and a helmsman who also had to be able to navigate. It doesn't sound like much, but years later there were schooners with only two masts and only four seamen. And since the terror was only meant to reach the next port and not England, I think it's quite possible.

Vanny isn't a villain in my Tsams au series, She's anti hero who's trying to save her friends and her universe. Eclipse and Saturn doesn't have a worry about her. { They might see her again idk}

Honestly, Think that Vanny from Eass might be evil so she'll bring back the legacy of Afton.
