I legit got chocked up at this bit! (quality stories giving me legit feels lately wtf?!) Like this exact moment!

Just prior he's being silly and his energetic self and cracks jokes with his own "funeral" and it is played lightly for laughs after that first terrifying encounter with the "Bounty Hunter" coming after his life.

But it is still his funeral. Of his identity and Pride. And it's already sad enough that he's all alone during it in parallel and juxtaposition to the party at town that just took place just a little earlier, but then as he's goofily singing his hero song, it sinks in and he can't cope with bragging and humor no more and the poor baby just breaks down!💔

I wanted to hug him so badly at this point! I'm glad he got love and self-actualisation in the end, this was truly an expertly written low point!
