Wombats (basic facts)
I learned about wombats recently and I'm starting to love them (not more than bears tho). Wombats are the angels of Australia, in my opinion. In fact, let me tell a couple of facts my amigos.
They look like bears, that deserves a point. Wombats look like a bear's young sibling who tags along for everything.
Pouches! Being a part of the marsupials, they have pouches for their joey. Sound familiar? Yes, it should. Kangaroos are also marsupials, so wombats are related to them! (also koalas)
Wombats crap is cube shaped. Sources really love this fact and it's true. Apparently, it's because their digestive system takes way longer than ours, that it dries out their crap and muscles does something and.. more stuff.... They poop cubes, that's the cool part.
Lastly, wombats used to be giants in prehistoric times. Let that seek in. Giant wombats. We could have has the cutest monsters.
They would've ate us, but yea, still cute.
Now that I have told you this, say thank you, and appreciate the lovely wombat. As they are the only animals I'm not scared of in Australia. Maybe.. they're might be more.
Oh and thank you to who mentioned them to me. They know who they are. :)
